Fire Extinguisher Training Course

Course Objective;    

• List the possible hazards in the workplace
• Identify the control measures to be put in place
• Understand the different classes of fire
• Understand the various types of Fire Extinguishers
• Select the correct type of fire extinguishers for the task.
• Use a Fire Extinguisher safely

Course Aim;
To provide the attendees the knowledge on the effective use of Fire Extinguishers.

Course Content;

• Legislation (Duty of the employer/employee)
• Nature and Behaviour of Fire
• Nature and Behaviour of Smoke
• Different classes of fire
• Fire Blankets
• Types and operation of Fire Extinguishers
• How to use a Fire Extinguisher safely

English is the language the course is delivered in and all participants must have a good command of the English language.

Duration; This 3 hour course equips participants with information necessary and the desired practical experience to extinguish fires in the workplace.

Maximum attendees; 10 persons

Participants will be required to complete a practical and short written test.

Please note the client must provide the fire extinguishers.

Assessment/Certification; Attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
